Things are good here. WE ended up not having intergviews with
presidant, me and elder hruska. they took a wrong road and got here
late so they only had time to interview the two elders from rio
tercero. either they pop up tonight or tomorrow, or we just arent
getting interviews for another 3 months. kind of a bumber, but were
tough guys so its whatever.
The work is really good, we found a whole bunch of new
investigators last week and were gonna have our arms full all week. i
hope everyone is doing awsome.
Yesterday was one of the best sacrament meetings weve had. HErmana
Gimenez finally realized that she can take her kids out when theyre
screaming, so i could actually hear the talks, and they were great!
The high councilor came and gave a talk on Christs last 48 hours, and
it was very strong, we all felt better afterwards. And he LIVES! i
watched one of those new videos theyre doing on Hermana Lopez´s
computer, the 7 minute one for easter, i think its called "he is
risen". anyone who hasnt seen it should, i thought they did a really
good job, and i wish we could just show it to everyone.

Oh the beehives are buzzin. April 9, 2012
Its starting to cool down! i think fall is only a few months away!!!!
so we had a great week, really busy. My companion and i spoke
in Church, and writing the talk was a very good experience for me, so
i suggest that everyone writes a talk on the teachings of Christ this
week. someone will ask you to give it one day, im sure.
Anyway, WEre doing well but very short on time. Interviews
with Presidant this wednesday, so i will have a chance to receive a
letter! only thing is, they dont get to me until people send them!
lets hope this time i get more than last time eh? the only one that
wrote me was Ellen, and i was so greatful and now im gonna write her
an awsome letter. thats how i roll.

Conference. April, 2, 2012
Dear Family,
Conferance is amazing. it shows you how much more beautiful
life can still get, and it also can make us sad when we really notice
all the empty seats. Graciela came to conferance on sunday. Last
thursday, we talked for an hour in her dining room. she was crying,
because she is tired of always being sick, feels cursed for having
epilepsy and so many other problems, is trying to fix her family but
gets discouraged, and has stopped eating almost completely. i told her
as strongly as i could "You HAVE to eat". shes trying, she doesnt have
an appetite or any real idea of how good things could be for her if
she took care of herself. well she didnt until sunday, for the talks
for elder Nelson, Elder Rasband, Elder Ballard, and the prophet. she
was crying the whole time. she only came to know if he was really a
prophet, and what ended up happening was nothing short of life
changing, i have no doubt. it was a littly miracle for us, and her.
and we needed it. our single mother new convert with a young
handicapped son wasnt there, not for the sunday talks, or for elder
baxters talk for single parents. the church was empty saturday. i felt
so great walking out of our little closet when we were watching in
english, and then just stopped and starred as i saw the big room, with
nothing but empty seats. we invited so many people- so many MEMBERS!
we went out into the streets of rio tercero, since thats where
conferance was. we invited anyone and everyone. Sunday we had more
members, and it went better, but its just so bittersweet to be filled
with such a spirit, and have so many prayers answered, and then see
how nobody came to feel that, and most people arent going to let me
share it with them. im really not whining, i just hope that anyone who
reads this agrees with me on the absolute necessity of listening to
the Prophets, and to know what God wants for us in our individual
lives right now. if anyone missed a session, id rather you be on
lds.org watching it than reading this email.
I love being a part of the Church of Jesus Christ, and im
greatful to be able to partake of His gospel. I know that our Prophet
speaks His words, and that the Holy Ghost can teach us what they mean
for us. I know that, because it happens to me every time, in such a
real way.
Id love to hear a quick message from anyone about their
favorite talk or a good experience they had this weekend, something i
can share with people here meybe. I personally loved Elder Scotts on
Saturday, and Elder Andersons on Sunday, and i cant wait for the
magazine to come out so that i can read and re read them.

Super short. March 26, 2012
Hey Fam,
Baptism on Saturday, went really well. Hoping to have another
the week after conferance. Excited for conferance, inviting everyone
we can to just come and see for themselves. zone conferance tomorrow
as well, so were going to cordoba super early. hopefully got some
letters waiting for me , i hope i hope.

Whats for dessert baby? March 19, 2012
I ate waaay too much lunch, and i have a terrible stomach ache, and
its such a long walk back to the apartment, im dreading it. ill
survive though, im a soldier.
HOpe everyone is doing well up north, im sure you all are. Weve
had a really great week, Church yesterday was crazy, tons of the
callings were changed, but it went really well. The hymns were always
the part i dreaded because they were sang a coppella and led by the
tone def hermana... best not mention her name. anyway. terrible, and
we usually have investigators so its a bummer. a few weeks ago i got
ahold of a hymns made easy book and i have been practicing on the
little keyboard ive got in the apartment, and yesterday i played the
hymns, and it was like day and night, the difference it made, which
was good, because graciella was there, and she loved it. When we got
to church she was already there, in class, and after class the stake
presidant sat her down for like 20 minutes testifying about the book
of mormon, and she finally understood, she was absolutly beaming, it
was really cool. this was her first time coming to church without us
picking her up. Soledad, our other investigator, couldnt come, but it
wasnt her fault, and we went and had a great lesson with her last
night, so shes still way excited to get baptized, and its been awsome
just watching the change in both their lives, so thats what ive been
busy will.
Elder Hruska was sick for a few days, so that kind of stunk, i
was super bord, but it was alright. The mandarine and grapefruit trees
are just about ripe, so ive been getting excited to eat some serious
grapefruit and whatnot.
Anyway, thats all for today. you guys are awsome. write me letters.

No whining on the Bridge train. March 12, 2012
Dear Family,
Weve had a really great week, just getting everyone ready for
conferance and reading old conferance talks and anything else that can
get us excited. Stake conferance went wonderfully, much better than i
let myself expect. our little branch (the town really) can be so much
like a season of the O.C. we just have to keep telling people, we dont
take sides, we dont take sides, thats tough hermana but i really dont
want to hear things like that. yes, yes, thats not fair, im sorry, all
we can do is pray. and on. and on.
ITs good though, theyre getting better, and were trying to
keep them busy so they fight amongst themselves less. ands its
working. So we have this investigator that we found my first week here
right? graciella is her name. she keeps having just the craziest
problems and has such a life, it would make you greatful for
everything you have after talking to her for 5 minutes, but i guess
thats common here. anyway, without our even suggesting, a couple of
the hermanas in the ward have set up a "date" with her, this
wednesday, theyre all just gonna show up to her house to make her feel
loved and drink mate. graciella has ZERO of that in her life. she has
been thrown around and robbed of love for so long, and i feel like
this will be so important for her. she has alot of doctrinal questions
still but our hermanas are solid, theyre gonna help her a ton, and
then i guess we´ll just drop by thursday and see how it went eh? im
very proud of a few of our hermanas who have really decided that they
finally want to help this branch grow. consecration brings miracles,
tell you what.
I hope everyone is so excited for conferance. id love to hear from
everyone afterward and have everyone tell me what their favorite talk
was. i love different perspectieves, and that will help us get excited
for when the magazines come out and we can read them all!
I have alot to be thankful for. and im going to spen the next 6
weeks in almafuerte, with elder hruska, counting my blessings.

I AM NOT A LOSER!!!!!! March 5, 2012
Dear Famly,
We had a great week, worked our tails off and had alot of
success. When i was with Elder Asplund we started working with an
inactive lady, and shes turned her life completly around, its so
awsome to see. She has been in church every week for like the last
month, and this week she went out with us TWICE! just to hit the
pavement! she keeps setting up appointments with all her friends, and
when we get to her house, she is always studying preach my gospel,
shes a missionary machine. family, meet your example. do that! she
seriously just wants to go knock doors with us! and thanks to all the
people she is introducing us too, we are always busy, its very cool to
see, and of course the blessing that she is recieving werent far
behind. very cool to witness, thats all. Adrianna Lopez is her name.

Other than that, were just doing what we always do. trying to
teach the same things in ways people will listen, when it works, we
feel great, when it doesnt, its back to the drawing board. Sure
learning a thing or two though. NExt weekend we are all going to Rio
Cuarto for stake conferance so were working with the branch presidant
to get as many people there as possible, were shooting for 30, so
we´ll see how it goes. this transfer is almost over, my companion is
sure that he´s leaving, but im hoping we both stay, i guess we´ll find
out saturday night. send some good praying this way eh?

from all of you headed my way, meybe even a package or too.
