He had a plan to shake things up, and thats the gospel truth. September 24, 2012

Dear Family,
Im sick again, but thats fine. hopefully ill feel better by
tomorrow, or the next day. Weve been really busy lately, minus the
sickness. Zone conferance was last friday and it was way cool, i got
to see some old friends and Presidants talk was awsome as always, so i
left really excited, until i got sick like an hour later haha and its
been just grand since then. today we went someplace cool though, ill
try to send pictures next week.
Im starting to get really excited for general conferance and i
really hope everyone will bring a friend! this ones gonna be good, i
can feel it. We´re making invitations and trying to get all of our
families really excited about speaking up about conferance, it really
does have something for everyone in each session. Andres (the long
haired kid in the pictures) got the priesthood yesterday so that was
really cool to see,  and we are trying really hard to keep up this
momentum, i just need health, if i have that, i can do anything else!
Time goes by so fast in the mission. today is no exception,
and im all out.

Who put the glad in gladiator? September 10, 2012

    Dear Family,
Weve had a good week, its been super busy actually, had to go on like
3 unplanned intercambios for this and that, but i think it was
productive so its worth it, just alot on my mind and now its p-day so
i kind of just want to unwind and i hope that i will be able to. Were
still just going full speed and i cant think of anything funny to
report... but we are making real progress with our investigators and
oscar, gabriel, and especially humberto need your prayers this week so
that they can be baptized this saturday!
Also, i havent gotten a package or letter in quite some
time... keep that in mind i guess? i hear johnny has been working all
summer, lets see some of that "town of raymond" money get transfered
into a box full of reeses!
This weekend was the rededication of the buenos aires temple, so
saturday night we watched the big cultural celebration thing. kind of
boring to be honest, great, but too much local dance, which stays
local for a reason. It was awsome to go to the rededication on sunday
though, its been too long since ive gotten to go to the temple and it
was a very special chance. We went to 2 of the three sessions. Elder
Eyring came, with Elder Ballard, and Elder Christofferson (who served
in Cordoba and still speaks wicked good spanish) i was pretty
impressed. He has always come across to me as just extremely
intelligent.
       Anyway, gotta go. love you!

Suit Jackets make great pillows in a bus. September 3, 2012

Dear Family,
Its been a good week. Just stayin busy and trying to teach
alot of people. Were trying to put a new emphasis on finding families
to teach instead of just individuals. anyone have any good mission
stories along those lines? id love to hear them. anything to get us
pumped up right?       Other than that, same old daily grind... oh one
cool thing. I went on an intercambio with a little peruvian Elder
named Elder Chavarry, and he found a little house that holds this
Peruvian family that sells peruvian food! they even have some tables
in the front room, so we sat down for lunch, and it was incredible.
The food down here really isnt that great, you just get used to it,
and im really used to it, but eating that delicious food that actually
had flavor was like a punch to my tastebuds and i was in heaven. if
anyone lives in a place with a peruvian restaurant, hit it up! get
sebiche de pescado, and chicharron de cerdo! i cant even explain how
good it is. the sebiche is like just a raw fish fillet with lemon
juice and some herbs and some hot peppers and stuff, and it was
seriously like amazing, and it didnt even make me sick! the other was
just... ah, so good, im totally going on more intercambios over there.
not only that, but the peruvian family is really nice, and the parents
are married! which almost never happens down here, so were definatly
gonna try to teach them... over lunch.
              Love you!
