Hot Diggity! March 26, 2011

Yes I got email...

but only for a half hour each p-day while we do laundry, and usually p-day will be friday but since this is the first week its a little wierd. how are things at home? i got your letter and the two packages, keep up the good work! i mailed you a real letter yesterday so you will probably get that like tuesday, and i dont want you to get the same message twice, so you'll just have to wait! i do love it here though, and my district is awsome. we all have a bit of an off sense of humor so it stays fun, but we all want to work our butts off so we keep each other on our toes. i only have a short amount of time to write, but lucky for you, you only gave me one email adress! so until another member of my neglectful family takes a minute to shoot me a line, you get my full attention lol. (p.s. the bits of green on everything were a nice touch). and also you can let dad know that alot is going on here that he'd like to hear about, but until i get a letter from him i wont be able to share, and the longer he waits, the more ill forget and the less time ill have. we are very busy. so far i have learned how to pray and bare my testimony in spanish but it is tricky to not say the same thing every time, so i could spend hours working on that. hours that i dont have. on top of that. every missionary prepares a talk every week, just in case, so i have one to write for tomorrow, and then my companion elder frazier and i need to prepare a 20 minute lesson on the restoration for monday. in spanish. but we are all feeling the Lords blessings every day, and we have some great examples here in our leaders, teachers, and other missionaries that have been where we are and are very understanding. There are a few tough guys in the hall that dont say hi back, but i dont let them get away with it unless the ignore me two or three times. my district set a goal to bare our testimony in spanish at least 3 times a day to a stranger, so far today ive done it  once, and i drew a few blanks but it felt good, and it will only get easier. i really expected to get on and have some email so im a little bummed, oh well. the food here is good, and there is alot, and i have been eating way too much. i vowed to reign myself in and stop eating so much, but tomorrow is fast sunday so tonight at 6 i am planning on a colossal binge, probably all three entrees and any desert i can stuff down after (ambitious, i know, but i need goals right?). i actually have never had so many goals in my life. i thought of that today when i was working on some spanish on a computer program and thought i could get away with falling asleep for a few minutes (we are all permanently tired mentally and physically) but i decided not to, not because i might get caught, but because i would know, and i really dont want to waste a second. it was a new feeling for me, but i think it means the Lord is helping me. Although we have so much going on, i dont feel stressed, i just hope i will be able to keep up with the other elders. my district is a very smart, hard working group, that all had good parents, you can tell, so i am just trying to keep up. i have been writing in my journal every day until the minute before lights out, i seriously wish i had that hourglass the hermione has so that she can go back in time. if i had about 3 more hours of sleep, 4 more hours of personal study, 2 more hours of gym, 1 more hour of companionship study, and 8 more hours of language study a day, i might be able to get caught up on everything i want to accomplish. i never thought 16 hours wouldnt be enough haha. things are great though. im happy, im working, im well fed, and our classroom has the best view in the mtc.
my letter says i dont want more candy, but i changed my mind. you cant send enough candy, but coconut isnt a hit (i like it though). and please tell everyone that i cant write to them until they send me an email so i have their address, and i dont have alot of time for letters and probably wont until im in the field so ill do what i can but they probably wont be super long. I love being here Mom, and the Lord will bless us all during this time. no pictures yet but there will be time soon, were walking to the temple tomorrow so ill take some then. love you,
                                            elder bridge.

p.s. things i love, crackers and ez cheese, beef jerky, gardettos, sweet and salty bugles, chocolate peanut butter bugles.
